Over the March Break, letters of concern were mailed to the homes of students who are struggling in courses or are not working to their potential. Information on this report indicates areas where students can improve and should serve as discussion items for parents at Parent-Teacher Night.
A reminder to all parents that semester 2 Parent-Teacher Night occurs on:
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Please contact the school if you wish to speak with a teacher but cannot attend on this evening.
Next Parent Council Meeting for Stratford Central is Tuesday, March 20 at 7pm in the library. Police Officer Nick Keating is the guest speaker. Please come out to ask questions and have an opportunity to connect with supports and resources for parents. Draw prizes at end of meeting!
You will be receiving emails from Sandy Kunkel with links to the Technology-Enabled Learning Survey for your school. The links are school-specific. There are separate links for Grade 6 students, Grades 7-12 students and Administrators/Teachers to use to complete the survey.
The surveys open on Wednesday, February 7, and will close on February 21. A schedule should be created so that all gr. 6-12 students and teachers have an opportunity to complete the survey in the time rame.
Also, if it would be helpful for your school community, please find attached a sample Parent/Caregiver Information Letter (Technology-Enabled Learning Survey) about the purpose of the survey.
We appreciate your support in arranging for the completion of these surveys. If you have any questions, please contact myself or Sandy.
