2019-2020 School Year
We understand that parents and students have questions and concerns regarding moving to Stratford Northwestern for the 2019-2020 school year.
We will be addressing these questions beginning in September 2018. We will also be soliciting input from all our stakeholders (parents, students, teachers, trustees) regarding this transition at that time.
Our committee will continue to provide updates on the Avon-Maitland District School Board website as the project proceeds through its phases.
We are excited by the programming possibilities that this project presents for our students and look forward to working with our community on enhancing educational opportunities within both schools to help develop 21st century learners in the years to come.

Avon Maitland is holding and Indigenous Education Advisory Committee (IEAC) meeting on Tuesday, May 29 at 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Education Centre. We have mailed out letters to the individual families that have children that have self-identified as First Nations, Metis and Inuit. We know that there are other families that are Indigenous in our schools but choose not to go through the self-identification process. If you know of parents that may like to attend the IEAC meeting that are Indigenous themselves or who have children that are please see the letter below regarding details of the meeting.
