Parent Resource Library

Parents, the Stratford Central library now has a special section just for you! The collection currently includes general parenting books with a focus on the teenage years, as well as specific issues of interest such as eating disorders, substance abuse, learning disabilities, mental illness and bullying.

This is a new initiative from your School Council, generously supported by a donation from the Rotary Club of Stratford.
The catalogue currently includes general parenting books with a focus on the teenage years, as well as specific issues of interest such as eating disorders, substance abuse, learning disabilities, mental illness and bullying.

The program is free to all Central parents. So come on out and peruse the stacks. We are housed within the school library and open during school hours. Council will also be making the books available during parent events at the school.
At present you will find a humble collection of book titles to choose from and we hope to add many more pertinent books to the collection, as well as DVDs and CDs. If you are able to donate any good quality, up-to-date items, please drop them off at the library and we will catalogue them and add them to the collection.
We acknowledge that our school lies on the traditional lands of the Anishnaabe and Haudenosaunee people, who have been the stewards of this land since the beginning. In recognition of this, may we work towards a positive, constructive relationship between the Indigenous people of Canada and ourselves.
